Post, Auxiliary Install Officers for 2013-14

UTICA, May 23, 2013 – Chris Urban, a former Navy helicopter pilot, has been re-elected commander of Utica Post 229, and Roe Haggerty, a veteran of both unit and county Auxiliary leadership positions, has been elected president of Auxiliary Unit 229.

They and other 2013-2014 officers were installed in a joint ceremony May 4, along with officers of Harold Provost Post 1686. Oneida County Legion Commander Dave Riley presided, and Unit 229 member Rosetta LaPaglia presided on behalf of the County Auxiliary.

Other officers of Post 229 are:
1st Vice Commander: Jim George.
2nd Vice Commander: Bob Stronach.
3rd Vice Commander: David Wilson.
Adjutant: Anthony Palladino.
Treasurer: James Haggerty.
Chaplain: Paul Wojcik.
Service Officer: David Wilson.
Sgt.-at-Arms: Wayne Dapre.
Judge Advocate: Albert Alteri.
Historian: Al Kohler.
Executive Board: Frank Cassella, Tom O'Toole, Vin Zaleski, Jack LaPaglia, Stew Bailey.
