Utica Post 229 is holding its first scholarship dinner since the pandemic struck last year.
It takes place on April 22 with both eat-in and take-out options, reports Scholarship Chair Vin “Zeke” Zaleski.
The menu features ziti and meatballs, bread/rolls, and salad for only a $10 donation.
For those eating in, the dinner will be served in the dining hall, with tables appropriately spaced. Face masks are required except while dining. Coffee, tea and other beverages will be available for those dining in.
This is “our only fundraiser” for the scholarship fund, notes Zaleski. “If you’re able to attend, you’ll enjoy a good dinner with great fellowship.” If not, “consider take-out or even just making a donation.”
