If you’ve served on active duty in the armed forces, and have been honorably discharged, or are still serving, you are eligible for membership in The American Legion. The Legion is the largest U.S. veterans’ service organization, with 2.3 million members.

Or, you may fill out and return the membership application. Download, open in Adobe Reader. Then fill out, print, sign and return to Utica Post 229, 409 Herkimer Road, Utica, New York 13502. Annual dues are $45.
Please bring proof of service, such as DD Form 214.

A Legion Family membership brochure prepared by the American Legion Auxiliary, contains membership applications for the Legion, the Sons of the American Legion, and the Auxiliary.
In addition, motorcyle enthusiasts in the Legion Family may join American Legion Riders.
Annual dues for Utica Post 229 are $45.
For the Sons Squadron, dues are $25.
For the Auxiliary Unit, dues are $25.
